2. Description of Service
Movescrow is a technology platform for protected payments and deals (including Movescrow Witness) that facilitates transactions between users by:
- Working with licensed partners to hold funds securely until services are completed or terms are met
- Verifying service completion before releasing funds
- Providing dispute resolution services
- Ensuring secure payment processing
We provide a platform for protected payment transactions. We are not a party to the underlying transactions between users.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Registration
To use our services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to:

- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on the rights of others
- Transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content

- Circumvent platform payment protections or attempt to bypass verification
5. Protected payments and fund holding
5.1 How funds are protected
Movescrow uses a protected payment system with partner banking to secure funds:
- Funds are held securely with our payment partners until service completion is verified (as described in the product flow)
- Funds are released to sellers upon successful verification
- Refunds are processed according to our refund policy and dispute resolution process
- All transactions are subject to verification and compliance checks
5.2 Service Fees
We may charge service fees for using our platform. All fees will be clearly disclosed before you complete a transaction. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
5.3 Payment Processing
Payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors and follow the transaction rules. We do not store your full payment card information on our servers. You authorize us to process payments in accordance with these Terms.
5.4 Fund Release
Funds will be released from protected holding only after:
- Service completion is verified by the buyer
- All verification requirements are met
- No disputes are pending
- All applicable fees are paid
6. Transaction Responsibilities
6.1 Buyer Responsibilities
As a buyer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate transaction details
- Deposit funds for the deal as agreed
- Verify service completion accurately and in good faith
- Communicate clearly with sellers
- Report any issues or disputes promptly
6.2 Seller Responsibilities
As a seller, you agree to:
- Provide services as agreed and described
- Complete services in a timely and professional manner
- Provide accurate service descriptions
- Respond promptly to verification requests
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
6.3 Disputes
If you have a dispute with another user, please contact our support team. We will attempt to resolve disputes fairly based on available evidence, but we are not obligated to resolve all disputes. Our decision in dispute resolution is final.
7. Limitation of Liability
IMPORTANT: Movescrow is a technology platform. Fund holding is done through licensed partners as described in our product terms. We are not responsible for:
- The quality, safety, or legality of services provided by sellers
- The accuracy of information provided by users
- Disputes between buyers and sellers beyond our dispute resolution process
- Losses arising from fraudulent or illegal activities by users
- Technical issues beyond our reasonable control
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Movescrow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the service.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Movescrow, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another.
9. Intellectual Property
The service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Movescrow and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works of the service without our express written permission.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.
Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including payment obligations and dispute resolution provisions.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
13. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules, except where prohibited by law.
14. Severability
